A well-balanced attack led Mitchell over Hudson in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Mitchell Mustangs blew the Hudson Cobras out of the water with a 67-20 final score. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Sydney Reinhart had a dynamite game for Mitchell, going 7 of 14 en route to 20 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That's the most steals Reinhart has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Malik, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.

Mitchell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 29 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in nine consecutive games.

Hudson's loss came despite strong showings from Cloie Hagin and Grace Rutherford. Hagin posted five points and nine rebounds, while Rutherford scored four points. Hagin continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Mitchell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Hudson, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Mitchell has already played their next match (against Cypress Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hudson will host Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hudson is facing Central at the right time seeing as Central is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
