Archimedean entered their tilt with Marathon on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Marathon Dolphins. That's more bragging rights for Archimedean, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Archimedean is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those seven contests. As for Marathon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archimedean and Mater Lakes Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Mater Lakes Academy's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Marathon, they will host Miami Country Day at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
