Valley might have lost, but man, Laurissa Richards was a machine: she had 26 digs and seven assists. Richards is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.
Meanwhile, University didn't have quite enough to beat Resurrection Christian on Tuesday and fell 3-2.
University took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-15, 22-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-9.
Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for University, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.
