Softball Game Preview: Reavis Rams vs. Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves

The Reavis Rams will square off against the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Thornton Fractional South took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Reavis, who comes in off a win.

Reavis will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Richards, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rams came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday.

Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park hit Thornton Fractional South with a four-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Red Wolves lost 11-2 to the Hawks. The Red Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reavis pushed their record up to 15-12 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Thornton Fractional South, their loss dropped their record down to 2-22.
