Football Recap: Minster Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Minster can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers by a score of 50-48 on Friday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavaliers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2016.

Lehman Catholic had a senior duo take command as Evan O'Leary gained 313 total yards and two touchdowns and Turner Lachey rushed for 77 yards and three touchdowns. O'Leary's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. John Verrill was in the mix too, providing Lehman Catholic with two scores.

Minster's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Lehman Catholic, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Minster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lehman Catholic, they are taking a road trip to square off against Marion Local at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Flyers' defense has only allowed eight points per game this season, so the Cavaliers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
