Volleyball Recap: Righetti Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arroyo Grande, Righetti was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Paso Robles Bearcats by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

While Righetti might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Paso Robles scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 21-25, 25-22.

Righetti pushed their record up to 14-13 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Paso Robles, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Righetti will challenge Orcutt Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Paso Robles and Bakersfield Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bearcats are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
