Chandler got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Perry Pumas. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Pumas recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Jace Harrell was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Colin Murphy, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.

Chandler's win bumped their record up to 12-13-1. As for Perry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-9 record this season.

Chandler will have a chance to go back-to-back against Perry: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
