Baseball Recap: West Harrison Takes a Loss

West Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Picayune Maroon Tide. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hurricanes of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

West Harrison now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Picayune, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

While West Harrison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
