Basketball Recap: Maya Bell Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

Lexington won the last time they faced Rogers and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lexington Eagles enjoyed a cozy 55-38 win over the Rogers Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lexington.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lexington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maya Bell, who posted 21 points and five steals. Bell's evening made it 11 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Kamoria Crawford was another key player, putting up eight points along with seven steals and five boards.

Lexington has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Rogers, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-9.

Lexington will take on C.H. Yoe at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Lexington is facing C.H. Yoe at the right time seeing as C.H. Yoe is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Rogers, they will welcome Rockdale at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Rogers will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Rockdale will have lost four straight heading into Friday's matchup.
