Phelps won the last time they faced Watersmeet and things went their way on Saturday too. The Knights came out on top against the Nimrods by a score of 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16.

Keira Riihimaki paced Phelps' offense, picking up four kills. Riihimaki also shared the team's lead in assists with Jodie Grasse: they picked up four each. Grasse was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Phelps is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-22 record this season. As for Watersmeet, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Looking ahead, Phelps will be playing in front of their home fans against White Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Watersmeet, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Ontonagon on the 20th.
