King's Academy waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Master's Academy Eagles. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Alexander Hansen looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits.

King's Academy pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Master's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

Coming up, King's Academy will face off against ABF Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. ABF Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.54 runs per game on average), something King's Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Master's Academy, they will welcome Sunset at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunset will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
