Basketball Recap: Logan Takes Down Grady in a Playoff Battle

Logan had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Grady Bronchos to the tune of 73-45 on Saturday. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Logan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mason Wallin led the charge by going 9-for-10 en route to 21 points. The game was Wallin's sixth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aydin Kotara, who posted ten points along with eight rebounds and six assists.

The win (which was Logan's sixth in a row) raised their record to 23-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.7 points over those games. As for Grady, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

Coming up, Logan will challenge Cliff at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Logan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten matchups. Grady does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
