After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westfield, Frontier Regional was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the East Longmeadow Spartans. The Red Hawks haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Frontier Regional was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 19-25, 25-23, 25-12.

Frontier Regional found their leader in sophomore Kaelyn Johnston, who had 15 digs and two aces. Raine Wonsey also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Frontier Regional was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Frontier Regional's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for East Longmeadow, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Frontier Regional will venture away from home to challenge Minnechaug Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. East Longmeadow has already played their next contest (against Westfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
