Basketball Recap: Corry Takes a Loss

After soaring to 55 points the game before, Corry was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by the Oil City Oilers and fell 66-23. The Beavers have struggled against the Oilers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Corry's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Oil City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corry and Northwestern will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Oil City, they will be home for the holidays to greet Meadville at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Oil City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Meadville likes a good challenge.
