Football Game Preview: Lloyd Memorial vs. Holy Cross

After two weeks on the road, Holy Cross is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Lloyd Memorial at 7:00 PM. Holy Cross come in off of nine low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.

Things haven't been easy for Holy Cross, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to nine. They were dealt a punishing 6-47 loss at the hands of Newport. The state rankings had actually given Holy Cross a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Meanwhile, after flying high against Newport two weeks ago, Lloyd Memorial came back down to earth. Lloyd Memorial took a hard 8-26 fall against Newport Central Catholic.
