Softball Recap: Pikesville Takes a Loss

If Pikesville was riding high fresh off their 16-7 takedown of Chesapeake last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Pikesville came up short against the Lansdowne Vikings on Wednesday, falling 22-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 36-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2019.

Pikesville's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Lansdowne, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Pikesville has already played their next game (against Owings Mills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lansdowne, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Hereford at 4:00 p.m.
