Volleyball Recap: North Allegheny Comes Up Short on the Road Against Morgantown

North Allegheny had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Morgantown Mohigans. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mohigans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While North Allegheny ultimately came up short, they really made Morgantown work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-22, 21-25, 25-20.

The win was the fourth in a row for Morgantown, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coincidentally, North Allegheny and Morgantown will both be playing Oakland Catholic the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face Oakland Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mohigans will host them at 7:00 p.m. on September 3.
