Volleyball Recap: Meskwaki Settlement Comes Up Short

Meskwaki Settlement was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lynnville-Sully Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Meskwaki Settlement's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lynnville-Sully, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Meskwaki Settlement will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Baxter at 7:30 p.m. on the 25th. As for Lynnville-Sully, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Sigourney on the 15th.
