Basketball Recap: HRK Find Success

HRK's game back in January was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 50-44 win over the Oakhill Christian Royals. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Oakhill Christian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Esher Andrews, who posted 16 points and three steals. Andrews has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Elijah Harman, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 boards.

HRK's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Oakhill Christian, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-20.

HRK does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakhill Christian, they will be playing at home against Badger State Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
