Football Recap: Firelands Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Firelands had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 42-6 loss at the hands of the Edison Chargers. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Firelands will face off against Vermilion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edison, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hopewell-Loudon at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
