Soccer Recap: Clover Takes a Loss

Clover managed to slip by Catawba Ridge the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Eagles lost 3-0 to the Copperheads on Tuesday. Clover have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Clover's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Catawba Ridge, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Clover and Catawba Ridge should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings. The Blue Eagles will face off against Rock Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (26 vs. 92). Meanwhile, Catawba Ridge (ranked tenth) will meet Fort Mill (ranked 69th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
