Volleyball Recap: Mt. Zion Comes Up Short

Mt. Zion lost against North Clayton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Zion was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-22.

Mt. Zion now has a losing record of 2-3. As for North Clayton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Coincidentally, Mt. Zion and North Clayton will both be playing Riverdale the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
