Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Prairie. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Jefferson of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Prairie, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will square off against Western Dubuque on Saturday. As for Prairie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
