            Baseball Recap: Milton Hershey Spartans vs. Middletown Blue Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            Milton Hershey was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  12-2 to the Middletown Blue Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the  7-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2024.
 Milton Hershey saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Deven Carbonell, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Milton Hershey's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Middletown,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-1.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Milton Hershey will  take on  rival Trinity  at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Middletown is set to  challenge  their familiar foe East Pennsboro  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (Middletown 3.2, East Pennsboro 2.8) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
