Inola had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Verdigris Cardinals as they made off with a 34-14 win. The Longhorns might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Inola's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Verdigris, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Inola will host Vinita at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Verdigris, they will look to defend their home field on the 24th against Berryhill at 7:00 p.m. The Chiefs' defense has only allowed 13.3 points per game this season, so the Cardinals' offense will have their work cut out for them.
