Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hyde Park). They blew past the Geneva Eagles, posting a 74-33 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three games in a row.

Geneva's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reese Smith, who posted five points.

Hyde Park's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Geneva, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Hyde Park won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Brentwood Christian at 12:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Geneva, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-31 loss against St. Andrew's on the 4th.
