Madison is 8-2 against Milby since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Madison Marlins are taking a road trip to take on the Milby Buffs at 10:00 a.m. One thing working in Madison's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.

Madison is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Sterling just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 79-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders.

Meanwhile, Milby also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Westbury by a score of 58-50. The Buffs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison will have to contain Delani Pestaina as he made an impact in Milby's last game. He posted 23 points and five rebounds. Pestaina is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kobe Brown, who had 13 points and four steals.

Even though they lost, Milby smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 16 consecutive games.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Milby, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.

Madison came up short against Milby in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 72-63. Can Madison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
