Football Game Preview: Calhoun Colts vs. MacArthur Generals

The Calhoun Colts will take on the MacArthur Generals on Saturday. Calhoun's defense has only allowed 7.8 points per game this season, so MacArthur's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Calhoun is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 42 points last Saturday, they were much more limited against Long Beach on Saturday. They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marines. The defeat continues a trend for the Colts in their meetings with the Marines: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, MacArthur didn't have quite enough to beat New Hyde Park Memorial on Saturday and fell 19-16.

MacArthur now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Calhoun, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Calhoun lost to MacArthur at home by a decisive 24-6 margin when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Colts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
