Chelsea is 9-1 against Tecumseh since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Chelsea Bulldogs will face off against the Tecumseh Indians at 6:30 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated after six-games, but that won't be the case come Thursday.

Back in December of 2024, Chelsea didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Dexter, but they still walked away with a 55-49 victory. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Dreadnaughts are ranked 69th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tecumseh). They claimed a resounding 77-45 win over East Lansing. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 26 points or more this season.

Chelsea's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Tecumseh, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Chelsea strolled past Tecumseh in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 51-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chelsea since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
