Northeastern's win came from a few key players Pasquotank County will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Eleck Sutton, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyell Saunders, who posted nine points and five steals.
Pasquotank County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for Northeastern, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
