There's no place like home for Janesville Craig, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Sun Prairie West Wolves on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Wolves back in April, they had to take a 10-9 defeat.

Maddie Schieve spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Abbie Claas, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Janesville Craig is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season. As for Sun Prairie West, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
