Soccer Game Preview: Rouse vs. Leander

The Rouse Raiders will square off against the Leander Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Rouse is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Leander better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Rouse's game on Tuesday is any indication, that's when Rouse really gets things going. The Raiders' defense stepped up to hand Cedar Park a 4-0 shutout. Considering Rouse have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Leander played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They beat Lehman by a goal, winning 1-0.

Leander now has a winning record of 6-5-4. As for Rouse, their win bumped their record up to 9-2-1.
