Softball Recap: Bristol Comes Up Short

Bristol's last matchup with St. John could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 15-5 to the Fighting Herald. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Herald this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-4 back in April.

Kyler Kennedy was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Cadence Imhoff, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Bristol and nudges their season record down to 10-9-1. As for St. John, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Bristol didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-2 loss against Badger on the 14th. St. John has also already played their next match (against Pymatuning Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
