Baseball Recap: Roland-Story Beats Notre Dame for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Roland-Story entered their tilt with Notre Dame on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Nikes.

Braden Wallace spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits.

At the plate, Roland-Story saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Jeter, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That double was Jeter's first of the season.

Roland-Story's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Notre Dame, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
