Berkeley has gone 8-2 against Cane Bay recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Stags will face off against the Cobras at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Cane Bay will be up against a hot Berkeley squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Stags' way against Goose Creek on Wednesday as they made off with an 11-1 win. That's two games straight that the Stags have won by exactly ten runs.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Cane Bay and Wando have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Saturday. The Cobras blew past the Warriors 8-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cobras have posted against the Warriors since April 1, 2022.

Marleigh Robertson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Charlet Reed was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Dargan, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.

Cane Bay's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Berkeley, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Berkeley got the 'W' when the teams last played last Wednesday against Cane Bay by a conclusive 9-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stags since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
