Basketball Recap: Mifflin County Takes a Loss

Mifflin County lost against Mechanicsburg back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mifflin County Huskies lost to the Mechanicsburg Wildcats at home by a 65-47 margin. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 295th, while the Wildcats are ranked 45th).

Mifflin County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Mechanicsburg, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Mifflin County will challenge Lower Dauphin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mechanicsburg has already played their next game (against Penn Manor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
