A Season-Best Performance from Eli Dukes Leads Palma over Everett Alvarez
Eli Dukes produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Palma to the win on Friday. Dukes' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards. He also rushed for 226 rushing yards, which is notable because Palma is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 3-4 otherwise.
Unfortunately for Everett Alvarez, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Dukes. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Dukes saw the Eagles), he rushed for 220 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Tyreis Lundy Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Tyreis Lundy's big game helped extend Soquel's winning streak to eight on Friday. Lundy was excellent, rushing for 164 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (103.8) per game. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards.
Soquel pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Lundy and Soquel are taking a road trip to take on Archbishop Riordan at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Garcia Came Up Big in Everett Alvarez's 42-19 Loss
Roman Garcia continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game with at least 126 rushing yards. He rushed for 192 yards while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 21 yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 52 yards.
For the season, Garcia has averaged 142 rushing yards per game.

For the season, Bailey has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 52 rushing yards per game.

Sam Whelan was instrumental in extending Soquel's winning streak to eight on Friday. Whelan was dynamite, throwing for 121 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
