Volleyball Recap: Crete-Monee Find Success

Crete-Monee posted their closest victory since September 6th on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Agricultural Science Cyclones 2-1.

Lucinda Joyce paced Crete-Monee's offense, picking up eight kills. Joyce got some help from Sophie Wieczorek and her 20 assists. Wieczorek was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Crete-Monee's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Agricultural Science, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Crete-Monee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Coal City on the 20th. As for Agricultural Science, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against St. Thomas More on the 20th.
