Basketball Preview: Spring Creek Gators vs. Rosewood Eagles

The Spring Creek Gators will venture away from home to challenge the Rosewood Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Spring Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Rosewood likes a good challenge.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Nathan Jackson, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 22 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennan Chambers, who posted 22 points.

Spring Creek has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Rosewood, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
