It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Excel can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Flomaton Hurricanes on Thursday. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Avery Duke and Ava McPhaul, who picked up five kills apiece. Duke really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight. Finally, McPhaul was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high 12 blocks.

Excel's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Flomaton, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.

As of now, neither Excel nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
