Basketball Recap: L'anse Creuse Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Alexa Maracle and Allison Tuladziecki

L'Anse Creuse's game on Thursday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marine City Mariners. The Lancers have struggled against the Mariners recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

L'Anse Creuse's loss came despite strong showings from Allison Tuladziecki and Alexa Maracle. Tuladziecki posted eight points and six steals, while Maracle put up 17 points. Tuladziecki is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Schuck, who earned four points.

L'Anse Creuse's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Marine City, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-6.

L'Anse Creuse will welcome Fitzgerald at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Marine City, they will head out to face off against Imlay City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
