Basketball Recap: Danbury Comes Up Short

Danbury played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 70-25 loss at the hands of the Calvert Senecas. While losing is never fun, the Lakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 780th, while the Senecas are ranked 168th).

This is the second loss in a row for Danbury and nudges their season record down to 2-10. As for Calvert, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Danbury will head out to take on Gibsonburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Calvert, they are taking a road trip to square off against Old Fort at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
