Football Recap: Morris Knolls Takes a Loss

Morris Knolls was the 34-14 winner over Bridgewater-Raritan when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Eagles fell 27-21 to the Panthers on Friday. While the Golden Eagles had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Panthers 7-0.

Despite the loss, Morris Knolls still got an impressive performance from Ryan McDonald, who rushed for 76 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 72 yards and one TD.

Morris Knolls now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Morris Knolls wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-7 win against Randolph on the 20th. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-7 victory against Hunterdon Central on the 19th.
