Basketball Game Preview: Exeter Monarchs vs. Caruthers Blue Raiders

The Exeter Monarchs and the Caruthers Blue Raiders will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Exeter sitting on four straight wins and Caruthers on three.

Exeter saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top against Orcutt Academy by a score of 66-55.

Meanwhile, Caruthers blew past Kennedy, posting a 59-25 victory.

Exeter's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Caruthers, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Exeter took their win against Caruthers when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 55-34 score. Will the Monarchs repeat their success, or do the Blue Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
