Basketball Recap: Five Straight Road Victories for Hudson Falls

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glens Falls, Hudson Falls was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took down the Amsterdam Rams 65-49. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Rams back in December of 2024, they had to take a 71-58 loss.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aundray Fowler, who posted 16 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Rocco Natale was another key player, putting up ten points.

Hudson Falls' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points per game. As for Amsterdam, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

Hudson Falls has already played their next matchup, a 53-48 loss against Queensbury on the 25th. As for Amsterdam, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-43 victory against Gloversville on the 25th.
