Baseball Recap: Wolcott RVT's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Wolcott RVT fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Kaynor Tech on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 10-9. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Wildcats, who until this contest were averaging 3.79 runs allowed.

Brody Nadeu made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Robbie Nellson, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

Wolcott RVT's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-6. As for Kaynor Tech, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
