Soccer Recap: Gulliver Prep Victorious

Gulliver Prep won against Coral Gables on Wednesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Saturday. The Raiders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Deerfield Beach Bucks, sneaking past 2-1. That's two games straight that Gulliver Prep have won by just one goal.

Gabriel Derzavich and Benjamin Pesce scored both of Gulliver Prep's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Gulliver Prep's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Deerfield Beach, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Gulliver Prep will head out to challenge Ferguson at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deerfield Beach, they will venture away from home to square off against Piper at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Piper's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
