Basketball Recap: Wells Hill Key Part of a Team Effort in Chiefs Win

North Myrtle Beach's tournament run continued when they took on Belton-Honea Path on Sunday. The North Myrtle Beach Chiefs came out on top against the Belton-Honea Path Bears by a score of 54-43.

North Myrtle Beach got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Wells Hill out in front who posted ten points in addition to eight assists and three steals. Hill has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Noah Louder, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points and six rebounds.

North Myrtle Beach's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Belton-Honea Path, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

North Myrtle Beach will take on Wilson Hall in a tournament on Thursday. As for Belton-Honea Path, they will head out to face off against Abbeville at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
