Volleyball Recap: Greenfield/Northwestern Gets the Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Greenfield/Northwestern challenged West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] on Thursday. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Greenfield/Northwestern easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-10.

Their offense was headlined by Lakely Albrecht and Adeline Lansaw, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Gracin Costello and her 13 assists. Annabeth Thornton and Kalynn Weller kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
