Volleyball Game Preview: Port Gibson Blue Waves vs. Amite County Trojans

The Port Gibson Blue Waves are taking a road trip to challenge the Amite County Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Port Gibson was able to grind out a solid win over Hazlehurst, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Waves in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Amite County made easy work of Bogue Chitto on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Amite County was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15, 25-14.

The victory got Port Gibson back to even at 6-6. As for Amite County, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-12.
